Jul 14, 2014 Rating Adding new puppy / help please by: Anonymous I have two mini dachshunds, neutered males. They are just over 1 year old. They play great together. I am going to get a new puppy in September. I need to pick either a female or male? I am leaning towards a female, because I don't want the pack mentality. But some have said three males would be better they won't pick on the female (she will be fixed at 6 months). Can you shed some light on which I should pick for the third member of the pet family?
