May 23, 2013 Rating Dachshund problem by: Peter Hello,about your dachshund whining and jerking towards her rear end, you probably should take her to your vet to get checked out. One thing that comes to mind is perhaps its something to do with her anal glands, they may not be emptying and would require to be expressed, this is something that does affect older dogs. It could be something else, so best to take her to your vet. Hope this helps you.
